Ames Soccer Club Hosts SOCCERPLUS Keeper Camp

SoccerPlus was founded in 1982 by US Soccer Hall of Fame inductee Tony DiCicco. 

SoccerPlus Goalkeeper School Day Academy is a comprehensive program for male and female keepers (ages 10-18.) 

The curriculum will teach goalkeeper footwork & handling, advanced handling and diving saves, breakaways, handling crosses, distribution, communication, and other essential topics. 

This camp is scheduled Aug 3 - 7 at Hunziker Youth Sports Complex, from 9am - 3pm (M-F).  Cost of the camp is $295.

SoccerPlus Goalkeeper School Day Academy is a comprehensive program for male and female keepers of all levels (ages 10-18.) The curriculum will teach goalkeeper footwork & handling, advanced handling and diving saves, breakaways, handling crosses, distribution, communication, and other essential topics.  For our younger keepers it may be their first formal introduction to serious goalkeeper training. For our advanced keepers it will be a comprehensive and demanding training environment. For all students it will be an opportunity to train and play with other goalkeepers in an unparalleled setting.  This demanding program is designed to address both technical and tactical skills at each student's level. SPGS recognizes that each student will enter the program at various levels of ability and with different needs. At the week’s end, each student will leave the camp a better goalkeeper, with the knowledge and tools to continue to improve throughout the year.
